April 2022 - Dr. Allison Skinner-Dorkenoo awarded the UGA Psychology Department's (Faculty) Diversity Award.

 

April 2022 - Apoorva Sarmal both awarded awarded the UGA Psychology Behavioral and Brain Sciences Diversity Research Award.

September 2021 - Apoorva Sarmal receives the Diversity Graduate Travel Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.

September 2021 - Dr. Allison Skinner-Dorkenoo's chaired symposium "How cultural representations can both perpetuate and challenge systemic racism" was accepted for presentation at the 2022 Society for Personality and Social Psychology Conference.

 

September 2021 - Apoorva Sarmal's co-chaired symposium "Loving’s legacy: How interracial couples disrupt and maintain social hierarchieswas accepted for presentation at the 2022 Society for Personality and Social Psychology Conference.
